Overview
We are recruiting a Pastry Chef for a well-established 4-star hotel in County Wexford, serving weddings, leisure guests, and corporate events.
This role offers variety across restaurant service, banqueting, afternoon tea, and events.
Responsibilities
Prepare and present high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods
Manage the pastry section and support other kitchen areas when needed
Produce desserts for weddings, conferences, and large-scale banqueting
Assist with menu development and seasonal dessert offerings
Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
Support junior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team culture
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Chef de Partie with strong pastry skills
Hotel or high-volume kitchen background preferred
Strong attention to detail and passion for pastry and desserts
Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
Full unrestricted right to work in Ireland
