Home From Home Childcare is looking for a dedicated, dynamic professional who can bring their expertise to ensure our centre continues to deliver outstanding care and education to children and families in our community. As the manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for the children in our centre. Your leadership skills and passion for early childhood development will contribute to the growth and development of our little ones.
This job will require 40-45 hours per week.
Key Requirements:
· Education: A minimum Level 7 in Early Childhood Education.
· Experience: 3+ years in a managing role in an Early Years setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the creche, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for childcare, staff, and parents.
· Oversee staff and lead, manage, and support a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
· Develop and implement appropriate educational programmes and ensure compliance with all government regulations, standards, and quality assurance frameworks.
· Manage government funding programmes and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.
· Foster positive relationships with parents and carers, communicating regularly about their child's progress and any concerns.
· Handle administrative duties, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing and marketing of premises.
· Promote a child-centred approach, respecting individual needs, and fostering an inclusive, engaging environment.
· Ensure that all safeguarding and health and safety policies are adhered to.
· Keeping records updated
