Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to join our expanding team.
You will be involved in the development and implementation of effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and to establish relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
* Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
* Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
* Monitor and analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales summaries.
* Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
* Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
* Liaise with Senior Management to ensure brand consistency.
* Sending weekly reports to Wholesalers and conducting weekly order calls to Wholesalers, sales representatives and end users.
* Complete calls sheets for each customer and document conversations including any relevant market information provided.
* Complete a daily report sheet for Senior Management.
* Monitor any developments with competition and report findings where necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Experience working within sales in food manufacturing sector.
* Knowledge of software systems and Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Good customer service expertise with excellent negotiation skills.
* Strong communication and team management skills.
* Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
* Flexibility to travel - covering Leinster, Northern Ireland, North West and South West but primarily based Leinster (Dublin) region.
* Clean Drivers' License.
