Veterinary Surgeon – Full-Time, Permanent. The Pet Hospital, Waterford. Salary: Up to €60,000 DOE.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our progressive and supportive team at The Pet Hospital in Waterford. This is a full-time, permanent position ideal for a confident clinician who thrives in a collaborative, forward-thinking practice.
The Pet Hospital team consists of 2 Veterinary Surgeons and 2 Veterinary Nurses. The role offers sole charge responsibilities and clinical autonomy, a varied caseload including consultations, diagnostics, and general soft tissue surgery (routine and emergency), and a well-established practice with a dedicated client base.
Key Responsibilities
* First opinion consultations and ongoing case management
* Routine and emergency soft tissue surgery
* Diagnostic workups using in-house facilities
* Client communication and care
* Sole charge responsibilities and clinical autonomy
* A well-established practice with a dedicated client base

What We Need From You
* VCI Registered Veterinary Surgeon
* Competence in all routine surgeries and diagnostics
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Passion for delivering gold-standard veterinary care
* Experience working in a sole charge environment
