Accounts Executive- Convergint Technologies Ireland
Position Summary:
We are seeking a self motivated, ambitious Service Sales person with a hunter mentality. The successful candidate have some security industry experience and will be capable of working independently and be able to demonstrate experience of building business relationships and outbound sales activities previously.
Responsible for, new and existing service contract sales / business development, management and the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand customers in the local Irish market.
The successful candidate will receive a very competitive base salary with an uncapped attractive commission structure.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Develops a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability across all regions of Ireland.
2. Responsible for creating, monitoring and revising lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline within specific accounts. Finds new and creative ways of engaging with customers. Responsible for capturing the attention of potential customers and presenting the broad services that the business has to offer.
3. Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new accounts.
4. Works alongside the inbound service team and the commercial team to open new leads and provide competitive pricing on proposals and strives to maintain maximum profit margin.
5. Creates and conducts proposal presentations. Works with the wider team of Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
6. Manages budget and improves forecasting accuracy for sales function and projects, ensures cost efficiency.
7. Collaborates with Convergint colleagues (Operations, Legal, Finance, etc.) to ensure jobs are planned and executed properly.
8. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
9. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Job Skills Requirements:
* Highly energetic and results-oriented, strong team player and communicator with an ability to work under pressure in a structured environment.
* Confidence and aptitude for capturing appointments with new clients, lead generation and outbound sales generation.
* Conversant with products/systems and solutions of Convergint Technologies relevant to the vertical markets and their value propositions
* Strong verbal/written communication and outstanding presentation skills required
* Demonstrated ability to influence others
* Ability to work independently
* Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
* Strong financial analytical skills
* Strong ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
* Driven, self-motivated and results-oriented
Education Requirements:
· Engineering or related field or equivalent certifications would be desirable.
Experience Requirements:
* Minimum of 3yrs of successful sales experience, preferably including 1 year in the area of commercial electronic security, and/or technologies required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience selling into End user accounts
* Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
* Willingness to travel and work within a global team of professionals
* Experience Selling service contracts into organisations
* Trained in solutions selling
* Trained in relationship selling
* Trained in strategic selling
Certifications & Licenses:
Industry-specific certifications a plus; must have valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Successful background checks are required for this role.

The position is an office-based position with regular visits to customers and work sites in the field. The colleague regularly performs work-related travel which may include some global travel.
