Tax Director - Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services | Private Clients | Top 10 Firm
Our client is a leading professional services firm in Ireland with ambitious growth plans with offices in Dublin, Galway and Limerick.
The role
We are currently looking to hire a Tax Director in our Employment Tax and Global Mobility Services within our Tax Advisory Services division. We are looking for someone who has a particular interest in advising on employment taxes, but the successful candidate would also have opportunities to work on global mobility tax related projects.
The team advises both domestic and international businesses in relation to a variety of issues, including:
1. All aspects of employment taxes e.g. advising on tax-free employee incentives, ERR, BIKs, share-based remuneration, termination/redundancy payments, PAYE health checks and Revenue PAYE audits.
2. All aspects of global mobility taxes e.g. inbound and outbound assignments, cross-border commuters, remote workers.
3. Employment tax and global mobility compliance e.g. personal tax returns for inbound and outbound assignees, A1s / CoCs, share scheme returns, SARP related returns, etc.

Ideal candidate
10. You are AITI / CTA qualified
11. You have a strong academic background;
12. Strong technical skills and detailed working knowledge of employment taxes and social security matters in Ireland.
13. A good communicator with demonstrated ability to work as part of a successful team.
14. You have worked in a tax team with client facing experience;
15. You are organised, a self-starter and an enthusiastic team player;
16. You can work efficiently to deadlines and encourage others to do the same;
17. You are driven, ambitious and passionate about continuous personal and professional development.
