Job Title: HGV DriverAbout the role :Virginia International Logistics are recruiting HGV Truck Drivers for national and international haulage. You'll be operating as part of an experienced team using a modern fleet, with strong weekly earnings and long-term job stability.This is an excellent opportunity for drivers with solid HGV experience and a professional approach to transport operations.Duration of Contract: Full-time, Permanent (following successful completion of 6-mths probationary)Location: Maghera, Virginia, Co Cavan.Duties:Complete all daily vehicle & trailer safety checksCorrect use of driver's hours and tachograph rulesSafe and courteous driving for all road usersFollow site & safety rules at all times and wear required PPE.Maintain collections & delivery's schedules as set out by the planning officeEnsuring prompt and accurate communication with the planning & transport officeEnsure equipment is maintained clean & in excellent condition.Essential Requirements:Full clean C+E drivers' licence, drivers tacho card & completed all required CPC's.Must have a good level of English communication skillsTraceable HGV driving experience - a minimum of two years.Must have EU citizenship - Applications only accepted from current EU residents.Reliable with a flexible and adaptable approach to work with a positive attitudeStrong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and focused.Flexible and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.Knowledge of Road Traffic and Health & Safety LegislationDistinct advantageADR qualifications (ADR Artic Tipper Driver)Experience working in the haulage and logistics industry.Experience in fridge work.Hours: 50-hour weekSalary: €840-€900 per week (DOE + route)Applications by CV to: Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €840.00-€900.00 per weekLanguage:English (required)Licence/Certification:C+E driver licence (required)drivers CPC and Tachocards (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: On the road
