Job Title: Group Payroll & Expenses Manager Salary: Competitive plus benefits package, hybrid Job Type:Permanent Location:Kingscourt Co.
Cavan Ref: S***** RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client invite experienced professionals within payroll & expenses management for a senior position in a market leading manufacturing organisation and top-rated local employer.
This role will oversee payroll, expenses and managing compliance along with cost analysis and management.
Easily commutable from areas in Cavan, Meath, Monaghan, Louth, south Armagh and north Westmeath.
Requirements: 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multinational or complex organisation.
Good understanding of accounting principles to be able to effectively account for all employee related costs.
IPASS qualification (or similar) required.
Strong knowledge of Irish and UK payroll legislation, taxes, and Revenue/HMRC filing requirements.
Experience managing employee expenses and Revenue ERR reporting.
Previous experience using payroll software (e.g., Sage Micropay, CoreHR, BrightPay) and expense management tools (e.g., Concur, Expensify, Continia).
Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Dynamics 365).
Proficiency in Microsoft excel and other finance tools.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end monthly payroll for all employees in Ireland and reconcile non-Irish/UK payroll recharges.
Manage and review employee expense submissions for accuracy and policy compliance.
Monitor and enhance the companys travel and expense policy.
Prepare uploads from expenses platform SAP Concur to SAP ERP system and ensure accurate general ledger coding.
Ensure compliance with Revenue/HMRC guidelines, ERR reporting requirements and statutory deadlines.
File payroll submissions in line with Real Time Reporting (RTR) requirements via Revenue Online Service (ROS.
Manage any benefits received under the small benefit exemption scheme.
Cost management and analysis, prepare monthly reports and deliver insights and possible cost saving opportunities.
Maintain a financial controls environment compliant with the Group Accounting Manual and readiness for audits by internal and external audit.
Coordinate with HR to maintain up-to-date employee records.
Investigate and lead opportunities to deploy AI and automation solutions within payroll processes.
Co-ordinate with HR to identify a suitable HR/Payroll system solution and engage with relevant departments to implement.
