Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager – Aviation Industry

Osborne Recruitment has partnered with a leading organisation in the aviation maintenance sector to recruit a Safety & Compliance Monitoring Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving compliance with EASA, IAA, UKCAA and other relevant regulations, while maintaining robust safety and compliance monitoring systems across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and continuously improve the Compliance Monitoring System in line with EASA Part 145 and industry best practice.
Deliver scheduled audit programmes, report on compliance status, and provide regular updates to the Accountable Manager.
Manage supplier/vendor audits and sub-contractor assessments to regulatory standards.
Act as the main point of contact for all safety and compliance-related matters with external authorities.
Maintain control over certifying staff authorisations and training records.
Oversee the Safety Management System, including risk management, hazard identification, and safety reporting structures.
Produce performance reports, facilitate external audits, and lead the internal Safety Review Board process.
Manage, coach, and develop the Safety & Compliance team.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 6 years' aviation experience, with at least 3 years in a Compliance Monitoring role.
Engineering qualification or Aircraft Maintenance Licence.
Strong working knowledge of EASA, IAA, and UKCAA regulations.
Proven ability to lead audit programmes and advise on non-compliance resolution.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Competent in safety investigation techniques, HF principles, and CMS software.
Formal training in compliance monitoring and safety management systems.
