We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to take a leadership role in our workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostics & Repairs – Conduct thorough vehicle diagnostics, identifying mechanical faults, and carrying out repairs efficiently.
Servicing & Maintenance – Perform routine services, inspections, and preventative maintenance on petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
Pre-Sale Inspections – Ensure all used cars meet our high-quality standards before they are placed for sale.
Team Leadership & Mentorship – Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and apprentices, ensuring the workshop runs smoothly.
Use of Diagnostic Equipment – Work with modern diagnostic tools to pinpoint issues quickly and accurately.
Record Keeping – Maintain detailed service records and ensure all work is completed in line with manufacturer and industry guidelines.
Health & Safety Compliance – Follow all workshop safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment.
Requirements:
5+ years experience as a fully qualified mechanic (preferably in a dealership or busy workshop environment).
Strong knowledge of petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicles.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults.
Experience with brakes, suspensions, clutches, timing belts, and engine rebuilds.
Familiarity with modern diagnostic equipment and tools.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A full, clean driving licence.
Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality workmanship.
