As the Internal Motor Assessor, you will support the Claims department with ensuring that vehicles are assessed accurately. You will have responsibility for assessing vehicles and determining vehicles which need to be physically inspected.Reporting to the Claims Support Manager, you will support the wider Claims Function in providing the highest level of service, providing trusted/expert advice, and support to our customers' when they need us most; from first notification through to Claims settlement. You will have the opportunity to work closely with all areas of Claims, External Assessors & Analytics.Key Responsibilities: Conduct high quality desktop vehicle assessmentsIdentify vehicles which may need to be physically inspected, ensuring repair costs and supplementary charges are highlightedEngage with garages to progress claims in a cost effective mannerProvide training for colleagues and participate in audits, where necessaryRepresent the Allianz Ireland Claims department at relevant claims forums and ensure the teams approach is aligned to best practice initiatives from both Allianz group and the industry.Identify and analyse emerging patterns and trends, working with colleagues in claims management to implement effective solutions.Collaborate with external providers and group to continually ensure best practices are being utilised.Consolidate data and trends which may be utilised in company/Group/industry forums.Attend Court on behalf of Allianz Ireland, when requiredKey Requirements / Skills & Experience Essential: Motor Engineering qualificationA minimum of 5 years claims handling experience/motor assessment experience.Experience in engaging with a wide range of various stakeholders internally/externally.Competent in Excel and PowerPoint presentations.Ability to deliver training to a high standard.Desirable: At Allianz Ireland, we are committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements.
