The Flying Enterprise Complex, one of Cork's most iconic hospitality destinations featuring a Bar, Restaurant, Courtyard, Deli and Event Spaces, is now recruiting an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our bar & food operations and drive exceptional service standards.This is a senior role within a large and growing hospitality group and requires a strong leader with excellent bar management experience.About the RoleThe Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the full food and beverage function across the complex, ensuring smooth service, consistent quality, staff leadership and strong operational standards.This role focuses on HACCP compliance, menu execution, team performance, customer satisfaction, cost controls and the overall efficiency of BOH and FOH food service operations.You will work closely with the senior leadership team, Head Chef and Supervisors to deliver a best in class guest experience across all dining and service points.You will work closely with the senior leadership team to deliver operational excellence across all bar service points.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day to day operations of all F&B areas (restaurant, courtyard, bar food, deli, events).Lead, train and motivate F&B staff, supervisors, servers, and support teams.Maintain exceptional service standards and a consistent guest experience across all venues.Oversee food presentation, quality control, portioning and service timing.Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, allergens, cleaning schedules and temperature monitoring.Work closely with kitchen leadership to coordinate service flows, menu changes and specials.Oversee stock control, ordering, waste management and F&B GP targets.Monitor food margins, cost controls, purchasing and supplier performance.Ensure all KitchTech / digital HACCP systems are completed accurately and on time.Support staff rotas, labour control and performance management.Manage customer engagement and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.Maintain cleanliness, organisation and presentation of all F&B service areas.Support event operations, banquet service and seasonal activation.Oversee compliance with H&S, food safety legislation, alcohol licensing and internal company policies.Report operational updates, issues, and KPIs to senior management.Requirements3+ years' experience in a food & beverage management or senior supervisory role.Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergens and Irish food safety regulations.Experience managing medium-to-large teams in a high-volume environment.Strong understanding of food cost, beverage cost, stock management and GP margins.Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.Ability to multitask and work effectively during peak service periods.Strong customer service focus with a commitment to quality.Ability to work evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.Professional, ambitious and dedicated to delivering top-tier hospitality standards.What We OfferCompetitive salary based on experienceStrong career progression within a growing hospitality groupA dynamic and supportive management teamStaff perks, training and development opportunitiesThe opportunity to help shape one of Cork's most exciting hospitality venuesHow to ApplyPlease submit your CV through Indeed.
