Dairygold Co-Operative Society Limited is now pleased to invite applications for the position of
Automation Graduate.
The Automation Graduate will provide automation support to operations to drive optimisation of production processes, recipes and equipment and to ensure that processes are in control resulting in cost effective, right first-time production.
The role also involves support for existing and new product development across the DI Production facilities.
Core responsibilities for this role include:
Providing Automation support to operations to drive optimisation of production processes, recipes and equipment
Assisting Operations in troubleshooting, issue resolution, root cause analysis and new projects
Carry out routine and planned system maintenance (Cybersecurity updates/system and application patching).
Collaborate with Central and Site teams to identify and develop new requirements for system and process improvements.
Follow the Change Control procedures as set out in the site Quality Management System
Post Change approval, develop, test, implement and document changes to the process automation code and systems hardware.
Work within a cross functional multidiscipline team environment and support other functions in driving performance improvements across sites
Develop and maintain the integrity of the interfaces between OT, MES & IT systems.
Support End user and technical training for Operations and Maintenance teams
Candidates for this position must possess:
3rd level qualification in engineering, computer science, related technical discipline
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Excellent communication – verbal & written
Team player that can work alone or within a team.
Organized, Logical with a High Attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
Results-orientated, data driven with a proven record of achievement
Has the ability to plan and prioritize own work.
Experience of using technical documentation and Drawings to understand and describe processes and systems.
Knowledge of PLC's, SCADA databases and industrial protocols
Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical and Pneumatic control
Knowledge of process instrumentation.
