People are at the heart of the business, with a strong emphasis on professional development, structured career progression and the empowerment of individuals to take ownership of their work and make a tangible impact.WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PROJECTSYou will join an experienced and well-respected project controls function, working closely with project directors, commercial leads and senior operational stakeholders on a portfolio of high-value, technically complex projects. The role offers exceptional variety across multiple sectors, with active programmes spanning renewables, energy, digital infrastructure and wider MEP delivery.These are landmark projects, delivered for some of the most demanding clients in Europe and requiring the highest standards of planning, cost control, reporting and performance management. You will play a central role in setting the standard for how projects are controlled, monitored and reported across the business.The environment is collaborative, fast-paced and solutions-focused, with strong leadership support and a clear emphasis on quality of data, consistency of reporting and accuracy of forecasting. There is significant investment in systems, tools and processes, ensuring you have the platform needed to perform at the highest level.The role is based out of the Dublin office, with travel to project sites across Ireland and continental Europe as required. It offers excellent exposure to senior leadership, broad sector experience and a genuine pathway into more senior project controls and commercial leadership roles within the business.RESPONSIBILITIESLead the project controls function across multiple live projects, ensuring consistency in planning, cost control, reporting and forecastingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, cost plans and performance metrics in line with internal and client requirementsProvide accurate and timely reporting to project leadership, senior management and key external stakeholdersMonitor project progress, identify risks and trends, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on trackWork closely with planning, commercial, engineering and site teams to ensure integrated and accurate project dataSupport change control, risk management and earned value analysis across the project portfolioDrive continuous improvement in project controls processes, tools and reporting standardsMentor and develop junior project controls staff, contributing to the wider growth of the functionWHAT YOU NEEDProven experience as a Project Controls Manager or Senior Project Controls Engineer within a major contractor or large-scale engineering environmentStrong background across planning, cost control, reporting and forecasting on complex, multi-disciplinary projectsExperience working within sectors such as renewables, energy, digital infrastructure, MEP or other capital-intensive industriesExcellent working knowledge of project controls tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project and cost management systemsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage at all levelsWillingness to travel to project sites across Ireland and continental Europe as requiredWHAT YOU'LL GET IN RETURNThis role offers a competitive salary in the region of €120K – €140K, alongside a strong benefits package, performance-related rewards and clear progression pathways.
