About The Role
The Assistant Director of Nursing is a leadership position that plays a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality care to the elderly and under 75 Unit. Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing, this individual will be responsible for managing the delivery of appropriate services, ensuring the highest quality of care.
This key leadership role requires a strong leader who can provide innovative and effective leadership, support and advice to nursing and allied staff at all levels. The ideal candidate will have exceptional management skills, with the ability to allocate, deploy and roster assigned staff effectively.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the delivery of appropriate services for the elderly and under 75 Unit, ensuring the highest quality of care.
* Provide leadership and vision for the development and advancement of the nursing service.
* Deputise for the Director of Nursing when required.
* Participate in meetings with management as required.
* Ensure resources are used effectively and appropriately.
* Be responsible for the allocation, deployment and rostering of assigned staff as necessary.
