Programme Support Coordinator
The Role: To support the implementation and delivery of quality customer-focused community services. This includes promoting and supporting independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities for service users.
Main Responsibilities:
* To build trusting relationships with service users, facilitate their goal-setting, strengths identification, and needs assessment.
* To provide accessible information on available community-based supports and ensure activities are monitored and maintained at a sustainable pace.
* To advocate on behalf of and support self-advocacy for service users in various settings.
About You:
This role requires a commitment to the values of Teamwork, Respect, Dignity, Justice, Advocacy, and Quality. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adults with disabilities and designing/delivering individual programmes. They should possess well-developed people management skills, including team building, leadership, and motivation.
Key Skills:
* A Third-level graduate in health and social care or equivalent.
* MAPA, Autism Awareness Training, Occupational First Aid, Manual Handling certification.
* Experience in programme design and delivery for people with disabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
