Altraspeisialtir Cliniciil - Cram Maolaitheach - Permanent Part-time (25.5 hours per week) Qualifications & Experience A candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed applications for the post: (i) Be a registered nurse on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by An Bord Altranais agus Cnimhseachais na hireann (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) or be eligible to be so registered (ii) Have successfully completed a minimum of Level 9* or higher NQAI Qualification relevant to his/her area of specialist practice (Equivalent to 60 ECTS or above).
*For Nurses/Midwives who currently hold a Level 8 educational qualification in the specialist area (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above), this qualification will be recognised up until September 2026.
OR Alternatively provide written evidence from the Higher Education Institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS Credits equivalent to a Level 9 or higher standard, relevant to the specialist area of care (equivalent to 60 ECTS or above) And (iii) Have a minimum of 1 year's post registration full time experience in the general division of the register in which the application is being made And (iv) Have a minimum of 1 years' full-time experience in specialist area of Pain Medicine And (v) Demonstrate Evidence of continuing professional development Note: It is the policy of the SIVUH to require nurses and midwives to certify registration with NMBI annually, by way of the Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC) Desirable Criteria: (i) Possess I.
