Job Overview
This dynamic Manufacturing Engineer will focus on troubleshooting issues, implementing process enhancements, and supporting ongoing production activities while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
The position involves advanced manufacturing processes such as laser cutting/welding, ultrasonic processing, coating processes, metal chemical processes, heat treatment, moulding/extrusion, and component assembly.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day technical support to resolve production challenges, minimize downtime, and ensure stable operations.
* Identify and implement opportunities to improve yields, reduce waste, and enhance overall production efficiency.
To drive process enhancements, the Manufacturing Engineer will utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role is desirable.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects.
A strong background in catheter assembly, including braided/coiled shaft assembly and reflow, tip bonding, and handle assembly is advantageous.
Preferred Skills
* Experience in Jigs & Fixtures design and maintenance is beneficial.
* Equipment and Process Validation experience with working knowledge of Minitab software is an asset.
* SolidWorks/AutoCAD skills are highly valued.
