Join the Kraken team as an Engineering Manager for our Pro product, leading a distributed engineering group focused on premium crypto trading interfaces.

The Opportunity
Drive design, architecture, and delivery of performant, modular, and accessible frontend systems.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to shape and deliver on our product roadmap.
Champion user experience through hands‑on engagement with dogfooding, feedback loops, and usability improvements.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration within a globally distributed team.
Mentor and develop engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally.
Guide initiatives that modernise our FE stack, improve reliability, and enhance performance at scale.
Skills you should have
8+ years of software engineering experience, strongly focused on front‑end or full‑stack.
3+ years of lead/mentor experience with 4–8 engineers in a distributed environment.
Deep experience with modern frameworks (React, TypeScript) and tooling (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
Solid understanding of performance optimisation, accessibility, and responsive UI design.
Proven track record of collaborating effectively with product, design, and cross‑functional teams.
Passion for building delightful, high‑quality user experiences.
Nice to haves
Previous experience in trading and/or fintech.
