ICT Support Specialist – Hybrid Role (Dublin City)
Technical Skills & Responsibilities:
1. Support ICT infrastructure and applications, including:Desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers/copiersNetwork, telecommunications, and remote access systemsNetwork authentication, email, and security systemsOff-the-shelf desktop software and enterprise applicationsBespoke applications, workflow systems, and web portalsEuropean and industry-related external systems
2. Maintain data accuracy, quality, and integrity across ICT systems
3. Assist with ICT projects and system development/maintenance
4. Adhere to best practices for internal and third-party software/hardware
Service Delivery & Stakeholder Management:
5. Provide within-hours service desk coverage per schedule
6. Keep stakeholders informed on ticket/change progress, delays, and next steps
7. Liaise with ICT team or external providers to escalate tickets for prompt resolution
Qualifications & Experience:
8. Minimum 2 years' experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
9. Familiarity with ITIL framework and change management principles
10. Relevant ICT certifications (MCP, ECDL, or equivalent)
11. Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications
12. Strong knowledge of desktop/laptop hardware and software
13. Experience with mobile and smart devices configuration
14. Knowledge of Microsoft Server technology, application servers, database servers, and SharePoint
Role Details:
15. Hybrid working: 3 days from home, 2 days on-site (Dublin City)
16. 35-hour working week
17. 23 days annual leave + 2 additional days
18. Salary: €35, – €54, per annum (incremental scale)
19. Must have a valid visa to work in Ireland
