MCL seek a
Bid Manager
to join their Commercial team. Based in our Head Office, the role will encompass the following responsibilities :
* Review & identify tender opportunities, research new markets & expand Customer relationship database tracking new opportunities.
* Lead bid from the initial "bid/no-bid" decision through planning, creation, and final submission, ensuring all tender submissions are completed accurately, submitted within deadlines, maintaining the highest standards.
* Management & Completion of Suitability Assessment Questionnaires.
* Review and understand bid approach, contributing to its evolution with innovative ideas.
* Identifying potential risks and opportunities associated with the bid, developing mitigation strategies, and managing the bid effectively in tandem with MCL commercial team.
* Collaborating & Co-ordinating with various internal departments & Design teams to gather all necessary information and ensure alignment on bid strategy.
* Co-ordinate with Estimating Dept to gather accurate information for comprehensive bids, ensuring timely completion permitting Tender Analysis & Bid settlement meetings with management in advance of overall Bid submission.
* Reviewing all documentation for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with the client's requirements and internal standards.
* Overseeing or directly writing high-quality, tailored bid documents, including executive summaries, technical proposals, and commercial submissions. Develop compelling clear, concise, and persuasive content, showcasing value propositions and methodologies.
* Contribute to the improvement of bid messaging and strategies, driving business growth and success.
* Assist with Company Marketing to ensure maximum exposure & showcasing of Company at strongest level.
* Monitor success rates and conversions, ensuring continuous improvement in the bid process.
* Ensure compliance with ISO reporting & filing procedures.
* Acting as a point of contact for client inquiries during the bid process and building strong customer relationships.
* Support wider pre-construction and growth strategy.
