Job Title: Warehouse Operative and Occasional Driver
Location: Little Island, Cork
Reporting to: Warehouse Manager
Contract: 6 months fixed-term contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: €30,000 per annum (pro rata to €15,000 for 6-month contractual period)

Key Responsibilities
* Comply, on a daily basis, with issues including food hygiene, health and safety, security of the van, and the safety and wellbeing of all staff and volunteers
* Carrying out deliveries and collections to and from food suppliers and charity partners as required
* Maintain a positive relationship and good communication with food suppliers and community member recipient projects
* Review all supplier and charity collections with the Hubs Manager on a daily basis
* Work with the Hubs Manager to implement new and existing operational and logistics procedures
* Assist the Hubs Manager with warehouse duties: Goods In, Dispatch, picking orders, stock taking, general housekeeping, and other duties per business needs
* Load vehicles and distribute products to charities on a daily basis
* Ensure that the vehicles used by the Hub are inspected, maintained, roadworthy, and legal (taxed and insured, etc.). This will include weekly cleaning of vans
* Be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others around you
* Comply with all FoodCloud policies and procedures and with industry standards as required by food donors and regulators
* Comply with monitoring and regulation systems as required for the organisation\'s activities and report on these regularly to the Hubs Manager
* Other duties as required per business needs
Skills & Experience
* At least 2 years experience of working in one or more of the following areas: food distribution, warehousing operation
* Experience of working in a highly regulated environment
* Experience working in a team environment
* Experience with operating a pallet truck, and other warehouse handling equipment, or forklift operation experience a bonus
* Successful candidate must hold or be willing to gain Level 1 certification in Food Safety for Catering
* Category B full licence
* Must be able to complete and maintain documentation for food safety, vehicle checks, and health and safety requirements
