Carron Insurances is seeking a Personal Lines Insurance Executive to join our team in Blackrock. This role is primarily focused on the servicing and retention of existing clients, delivering high-quality advice and customer care across all personal lines products.The RoleThe purpose of this role is to manage and service an existing book of personal lines business, including car, home, and van insurance. The position is centred on building long-term client relationships, ensuring renewals are handled efficiently, and providing clear, professional advice that meets clients' needs.Key ResponsibilitiesService and retain an existing portfolio of personal lines clientsManage renewals accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring a positive client experienceProvide clear, compliant, and customer-focused insurance adviceMaintain strong relationships with clients and insurersHandle mid-term adjustments, queries, and policy administration efficientlyEnsure full compliance with Central Bank of Ireland regulations and internal proceduresMaintain accurate records and documentationWork collaboratively within the team and contribute to a positive working environmentEngage in ongoing professional development and CPDRequired Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 1–2 years' experience in a personal lines insurance role within a brokerage or insurance environmentAPA (Personal General Insurance) qualification is essentialFull compliance with the Central Bank of Ireland's Minimum Competency Code (MCC) and CPD requirementsPractical working knowledge of Applied Relay is essentialAPA Commercial qualification is desirable but not essential; the successful candidate should be open to achieving or actively working towards this qualificationKey Skills & CompetenciesStrong client relationship management skills, with a focus on trust and long-term retentionExcellent communication skills and professional phone mannerAbility to explain policy details clearly and confidentlyStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workloadHigh attention to detail and accuracySolid knowledge of personal lines insurance products and market practicesProactive, reliable, and customer-focused approachCommitment to keeping up to date with industry developments and regulatory requirements
