Customer Services Rehoming Advisor
you'll give dogs a second chance, help people in need, and make a real difference.
You'll join a supportive team and be a compassionate and professional first point of contact for the public, adopters, and supporters across a range of communication channels.
What you'll be doing:
Managing a wide variety of enquiries via phone, email, and online platforms—both inbound and outbound
Maintaining a strong knowledge of dogs currently available for rehoming
Processing rehoming applications – matching dogs to potential adopters
Acting as a rehoming champion for long-term and behaviourally complex dogs
Accurately recording all customer interactions in internal systems
Managing sensitive and emotional conversations with compassion and control
Supporting fundraising and campaign enquiries with informed, brand-aligned responses
We're looking for someone who has:
Experience in high-demand, target driven, customer service or enquiry-based roles
Excellent active listening and communication skills
Confidence handling sensitive or distressed callers
Strong resilience, empathy, and emotional intelligence
Tech-savvy with confidence using Microsoft 365, Outlook, and cloud-based platforms
A proactive, adaptable attitude and the ability to work independently as well as in a team
A full clean driving licence (due to our rural location)
A meaningful, people-focused role with real impact
