Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of a key transformation project within a major IT programme. This role involves working closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Sales, Underwriting, and Finance, managing delivery end-to-end and ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
* Lead cross-functional teams across architecture, business analysis, software engineering, testing, and release management.
* Define project scope, governance, budget, resources, and delivery plans.
* Develop and manage schedules, work breakdown structures, and risk registers.
* Provide regular progress updates at steering meetings.
* Identify and resolve issues, implementing corrective actions where needed.
* Manage third-party vendors to deliver against project expectations.
* Oversee testing, business readiness, and smooth transition to production.
* Ensure strong collaboration and communication between technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements:
* 7+ years' project management experience, ideally delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
* Proven track record in financial services, insurance, or similar regulated industries.
* Strong knowledge of end-to-end project management processes.
* Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage stakeholders.
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or equivalent).
* Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma) is a plus.
