The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic Security Architecture and Engineering team and will have the opportunity to mentor security engineers and contribute to innovative security solutions that drive the organisation forward.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct security consulting engagements focusing on threat modelling and risk assessment improvements.
* Develop and maintain technical specifications, design patterns, and security guidelines, with an emphasis on cloud security.
* Perform threat analysis and modelling to ensure secure solutions integrated with the SecOps lifecycle.
* Utilise frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK and STRIDE to enhance security practises.
* Employ security controls (e.g., Cloud Security Matrix, NIST CSF) and architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) to document technical architecture references.
* Ensure the cloud environment complies with industry standards and regulations.
* Collaborate with leadership to identify technology opportunities that address information security and business challenges.
* Stay abreast of security concepts and technologies, driving knowledge growth across security domains.
* Identify and implement technical solutions that align with strategic objectives, focusing on risk mitigation and quality.
Requirements:
* A Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Extensive experience in cloud architecture and security, particularly with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
* Proficiency in Azure and Microsoft 365 services is essential.
* Preferred certifications: CCSP, CISSP, or CCA.
* A strong understanding of secure application development and threat mitigation tools.
* Experience with regulatory standards (ISO/IEC, GDPR) and integrating them into cybersecurity designs.
* Proven ability to define and influence security strategy and vision while guiding tactical initiatives.
* Experience in documenting architecture references and applying security controls (Cloud Control Matrix, NIST CSF, CIS Critical Security Controls).
* Exceptional skills in building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
