A major food production group in Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their dynamic Engineering team at their Head Office in Grannagh, Co. Waterford. This is a permanent opportunity to contribute to a wide range of capital projects across multiple production sites, supporting one of Europe's leading food processing operations.
Responsibilities
As Electrical Project Engineer, you will:
* Lead the design, implementation, and handover of multidisciplinary engineering projects.
* Manage and coordinate project elements across various production sites.
* Develop project budgets and oversee them through the full project lifecycle.
* Prepare user requirement specifications, tender documents, and engineering drawings.
* Support commissioning and handover of systems to end users.
* Provide technical support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Criteria
We're looking for candidates who have:
* A third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
* At least 2 years' experience in project engineering, ideally within capital projects.
* Strong proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; MS Project experience is a plus.
* A certified qualification in Project Management (desirable).
* Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and deliver projects end-to-end.
* Solid understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
* Flexibility to travel to production sites across Ireland and the UK.
