What You’ll Do
* Welcome guests with warmth, energy, and a touch of Moxy flair.
* Handle check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservations with efficiency and accuracy.
* Be the go‑to person for guest questions, requests, and local recommendations.
* Manage phone calls, emails, and guest communications professionally.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless service.
* Keep the front desk area tidy, stylish, and guest‑ready at all times.
* Support the team with admin tasks and jump in wherever needed.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures to ensure a safe environment.
* Report any hazards, incidents, or equipment issues promptly.
* Maintain a secure and welcoming front‑of‑house space.
Customer Care Focus
* Deliver friendly, helpful service that reflects the Moxy brand personality.
* Respond to guest needs with a can‑do attitude and a personal touch.
* Create a welcoming atmosphere that guests love to return to.
SOP Compliance & Review
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all front desk tasks.
* Participate in training and refreshers to stay up to date with procedures.
* Support the team in identifying ways to improve efficiency and service.
Brand Standards & Flexibility
* Uphold Marriott and Moxy brand standards in service, presentation, and guest interaction.
* Be flexible and hands on supporting other departments when needed.
* Embrace the dynamic nature of a new environment with energy and enthusiasm.
Communication
* Maintain clear and respectful communication with teammates and supervisors.
* Report issues, feedback, or guest concerns promptly and accurately.
* Participate in team briefings and contribute to a positive team culture.
What You Bring
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is a plus but not essential.
* Strong communication and multitasking skills.
* A friendly, confident personality and a passion for hospitality.
* Good computer literacy and attention to detail.
* Flexible full‑time schedule, including availability for weekends and holidays.
