Job Title: Finishing Foreman
Description:
Oversight of on-site health and safety is a key responsibility for this role. Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations, you will also oversee progress reporting, subcontractor coordination, quality assurance, documentation, snagging, handover, and labour tracking.
This position requires a strong focus on the final stages of project delivery, including fit-outs and finishes. As a seasoned construction professional, you will have a thorough understanding of construction processes and be able to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector, along with relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field.

Responsibilities:
* Taking ownership of on-site health and safety, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulations.
* Reporting on progress weekly, and proactively addressing any delays to keep the project on track.
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors and service providers to meet project milestones, including testing and commissioning.
* Carrying out continuous inspections of on-site works, resolving issues promptly to maintain quality and momentum.
* Ensuring inductions, sign-off sheets, and snag lists are maintained and closed out in coordination with subcontractors.
* Leading and managing snagging teams to achieve efficient, high-quality unit handovers.
* Completing daily allocation sheets to track site labour and material usage.
* Taking ownership of each unit from plastering/skimming through 2nd and 3rd fix, snagging, and final handover.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience as a Finishing Foreman within the construction sector.
* Relevant trade qualifications or technical certification in construction, carpentry, or a related field.
* Thorough understanding of construction processes, with a strong focus on the final stages of project delivery, including fit-outs and finishes.
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specs.
