About the Role
Brightpath Healthcare is seeking a Nurse Manager to join our team and lead community-based nursing services across the West of Ireland. As Nurse Manager, you will report directly to the National Operations Manager and oversee regional nursing and care teams, ensuring the safe, effective delivery of clinical and personal supports to clients in their homes.

Key ResponsibilitiesProfessional & Clinical Leadership
* Provide safe, comprehensive, person-centred nursing care to clients in their homes
* Lead and support nursing and care teams across the region
* Collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals in care planning
* Promote and implement best practice policies and clinical procedures
* Maintain confidentiality, ethics, and compliance with NMBI standards and relevant legislation
* Conduct regular spot checks, audits, and competency assessments of staff
* Identify and manage risks effectively, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained
Client & Service Management
* Meet all new clients and maintain regular communication with families and carers
* Ensure client care plans are developed, reviewed, and updated regularly
* Oversee service delivery, ensuring all care aligns with client goals and organisational values
* Prepare and submit monitoring reports and commissioners' reports as required
* Participate in the on-call rotation and ensure effective communication across teams
Staff Management & Development
* Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and care teams
* Participate in staff orientation, supervision, and professional development planning
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team culture
* Ensure effective use of resources and staff scheduling
* Contribute to the development and implementation of organisational policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
* Registered Nurse (RGN, Paediatric, or Intellectual Disability) with NMBI registration
* Full, clean driver's licence and willingness to travel across the region
* Evidence of continuous professional development
Essential Experience:
* Proven leadership or management experience within community or disability services
* Experience managing multidisciplinary staff teams (nursing and non-nursing)
* Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and risk management
Desirable:
* Experience supporting adults or children with complex care needs
* Familiarity with CMS systems and quality-of-life outcome measures
* IT proficiency and knowledge of national and international healthcare trends
