Member Services OfficerEnnistymon & District Credit Union is currently inviting applications for the position of Member Services Officer. We are seeking experienced candidates who are passionate about member service and are keen to build a career in a financial services environment.This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background or qualification in business or financial services who are looking to utilise and further develop their skills within a community-focused organisation.Role SummaryThe Member Services Officer will play a key role in delivering a best-in-class member experience in both frontline and back-office environments. Responsibilities include processing financial transactions (e.g. lodgements, withdrawals, loan payments), handling queries, supporting members, and promoting the credit union's wide range of financial services and products.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver a superior level of service to members in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.Carry out daily member transactions, including account openings, loan processing, insurance services, and general enquiries.Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and legislation.Support the promotion of Ennistymon & District Credit Union's products and services that offer value to our members.Accurately maintain member records and handle cash transactions diligently.Contribute to a positive team environment, promoting the Credit Union's values and high-performance culture.Providing cover as required between our main office in Ennistymon and our 2 sub offices in Miltown Malbay and Lisdoonvarna.RequirementsA member-focused approach with a strong track record of excellent customer service.Ideally, 3 years' experience in a financial, regulated, or customer-facing role.A professional qualification such as QFA, CUA, or APA is required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and good keyboard/data entry skills.Strong verbal, written, and numerical skills.A proactive problem-solver with attention to detail and the ability to work on own initiative.Adaptable and flexible in approach, with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.Experience in mortgage lending is desirable.How to ApplyInterested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter, by email to:Closing Date: Friday 24th October 2025Please include "Member Services Officer Application" in the subject line of your email.Shortlisting may apply, and assessment will be based on the information provided in your application.Ennistymon & District Credit Union Limited is proud to support an inclusive and diverse workforceJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In personApplication deadline: 27/10/2025
