To perform, routine, specialized, and research and development testing to the highest professional standards for the greater need of the patients. The fundamental philosophy guiding this position is that the Post Holder will take any and all measures that will ensure that Laboratory tests are performed and reported within a Quality Management framework and that the Department operates to the requirements of ISO 15189: 2022 'Medical Laboratories Particular Requirements for quality and Competence' and to Best Practice as to ensure Quality and Safety of the Microbiology service provided.
