Salary: €58,000 - €63,000 DOE
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for working with young people? Nuvo Healthcare is currently recruiting a Person in Charge (PIC) on behalf of our client, for an exciting new residential service based in Offaly. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and lead a dedicated care team in a therapeutic setting that supports Separated Children Seeking International Protection (SCIP), aged 11 to 17.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day operations of the centre in line with regulations and best practice.
* Oversee and review Care Plans tailored to each young person’s needs.
* Mentor and lead the staff team, providing supervision, support, and performance appraisals.
* Manage staff rosters and collaborate with HR on recruitment and team development.
* Promote the rights, dignity, and voices of all young people in the centre.
* Ensure the effective use of resources, maintain budgets, and oversee the upkeep of the centre.
* Participate in the on-call roster.
What We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 3 out of the last 5 years in a management role within Children & Family Services or similar.
* BA (Honours) in Social Care / Applied Social Studies / Applied Social Care.
* Registered with CORU if qualification is in a relevant field.
* Full clean manual driving license.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A compassionate and resilient mindset with a commitment to trauma-informed care.
