An experienced Finance Manager is required to join an Irish SME organisation in Maynooth, Kildare for an 18 month interim contract.
This is a hands on Accounting role which will require a strong understanding of day to day running of the business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly Management Accounts.
* Monitoring and reporting on revenue performance and cost margin of each department on a monthly basis.
* Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) of each department and communicating accordingly.
* Liaising with auditors on the preparation of audited accounts.
* All revenue returns including PAYE, VAT, Intrastat, Vies, etc.
* All statutory returns and forms.
* Completion of vehicle sales processing.
* Supervision of Credit Control/Debtor Control on a regular basis.
* Ensuring accuracy of accounts payable and receivable.
* Taking ownership of fixed asset register.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A qualification in accountancy.
* Previous experience in the role of financial accountant.
* Strong computer analytical skills including the full suite of Microsoft products.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* A proactive approach.
