Job Title: Steel Fixer
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced steel fixer to prepare and install steel reinforcement in precast moulds, ensuring structural strength and adherence to technical specifications.
* Interpret technical drawings and bar bending schedules;
* Cut, bend, and fix steel bars and mesh to required shapes and sizes;
* Assemble and secure rebar using hand and power tools;
* Position reinforcement in moulds before concrete is poured;
* Inspect finished work for accuracy and quality;
* Maintain compliance with health and safety standards on site;
* Collaborate closely with production and quality control teams.
* Proven experience as a steel fixer in a precast or construction environment;
* Ability to read and interpret detailed construction drawings and plans;
* Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, bending, and fixing rebar;
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures;
* Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced production-driven environment.
