Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Starlink project stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business requirements for connectivity systems.
• Translate connectivity-related business needs into functional specifications for engineering and technology teams.
• Work closely with Product Managers, developers, and UX teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
• Analyze current Aer Lingus connectivity capabilities and identify gaps for Starlink integration.
• Support development of customer-facing features that enhance inflight connectivity experience and enable retailing and advertising models.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to validate requirements and prioritize connectivity initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, consent management, and security standards in all connectivity requirements.
• Contribute to testing and validation of delivered connectivity solutions against documented requirements.
• Prepare clear documentation for governance and reporting purposes.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in technology, telecoms or connectivity projects.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and project management methodologies (Agile preferred).
• Experience or knowledge of customer experience principles, customer insights, and understanding customer journeys.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in airline, travel, or connectivity projects.
• Knowledge of customer experience design and digital retailing strategies.
• Familiarity with advertising models and monetization in connectivity platforms.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (GDPR) and consent management.
• Optional: Experience or knowledge of telecoms, satellite systems, and network engineering to support connectivity-related initiatives.
