Summary: Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company based in Limerick, is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of small-scale projects through their full lifecycle. These projects span across multiple disciplines, with a strong focus on building upgrades, laboratory modifications, and access control systems. This role requires a proactive professional with exposure to a wide range of engineering fields, who can manage stakeholders, contractors, and project delivery in a regulated environment. Responsibilities: Lead the development, reporting, and management of project deliverables. Manage third-party contractors and outsourced partners to ensure delivery against safety, cost, quality, and schedule objectives. Drive and embed a strong safety culture across all project teams. Ensure compliance with site, corporate, and regulatory authority guidelines. Oversee full project lifecycle including planning/scoping, prioritisation, resource management, execution, and external communication. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across disciplines to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, challenges, and milestones effectively. Provide strategic solutions to complex project phasing and execution challenges. Oversee construction, commissioning, and transition to operations. Coordinate the introduction and installation of new equipment, including troubleshooting and problem-solving during pre-qualification and start-up. Support and promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with EHS standards, policies, and regulations. Present project updates, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership. Qualifications & Experience: DegreeThird-level technical qualification in Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 8 years experience managing engineering projects within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector. Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary projects, including building, lab, and systems modifications.
