Customer Service Sales Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail team. This role involves assisting customers with their purchases, handling transactions, and maintaining high food safety standards.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods.
* Greet customers warmly, assist them with product choices, and provide recommendations based on their needs.
* Develop a strong understanding of the products offered to answer customer inquiries confidently and make informed suggestions.
* Keep all areas of the store clean and organized, ensuring food preparation and display areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
* Monitor stock levels, assist with restocking shelves, and maintain visually appealing displays to enhance the shopping experience.
* Adhere to health & safety regulations, including correct storage and handling procedures to maintain product quality.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and assist with tasks when required.
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in retail or a similar customer-facing role is an advantage.
* Willingness to learn about different products.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during busy periods.
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining hygiene standards.
* BASIC NUMERACY SKILLS FOR HANDLING CASH AND PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS ACCURATELY.
* Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
