Position Title: Electrician Maintenance (23160)
Reports To: Facilities Maintenance Supervisor
Position Location: US Army, Camp Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, Dublin, California
Work Days/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Hourly Wage: $50.38 per hour plus benefits
This is a Journeymen level job requiring 3-5 years of commercial work experience. The individual should possess a valid license as an Electrician and have graduated from a technical school or an apprentice program.
Qualifications:
* Must have documentation in writing by a licensed physician in California, capable of diagnosing, or a written certification by a California State rehabilitation agency.
* Must pass a government security clearance, criminal background checks, and not be subject to revocation of facility access during employment. Must possess a valid California Driver's license for the duration of employment.
Duties:
* Inspect and troubleshoot electrical issues using building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
* Recommend layouts for wiring, circuits, and systems; replace distribution panels, install wiring, fixtures, transformers, and other electrical devices.
* Service and repair electrical switches, relays, outlets, lighting fixtures, and alarm systems.
* Locate, install, repair, and maintain electrical circuits and fixtures; change light ballasts; replace worn wiring; install and test lighting.
* Prepare work reports; operate basic hand and power tools; perform manual labor for maintenance and repair of facilities.
* Lift and move materials up to 40 pounds; work in various physical positions; collaborate with other trades as needed.
