Accounting Specialist Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented accounting professional to fill this exciting part-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Allocate supplier invoices to purchase orders and delivery dockets.
* Process supplier invoices in a timely manner.
* Manage monthly payment runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Record and reconcile daily cash sales transactions.
* Conduct bank reconciliations and supplier/customer account reconciliations.
* Support weekly payroll processing and record project job hours and materials used per contract/job.
* Generate and monitor purchase orders, allocating costs and payments throughout projects.
* Prepare month-end reporting and assist with annual financial audits.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
* Prior experience in a construction company is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
