AWS Data Architect Daily Rate Contract with Leading Consultancy
A fantastic opportunity to join a leading consultancy on a greenfield AWS build for a specialist insurance client based in Dublin City Centre. You’ll be joining a brand-new team of six and helping to design and deliver the cloud platform from the ground up.
This role requires 3 days per week onsite in Dublin.
6-month contract (likely to extend) – €600–€650 per day – Must be based in Ireland
About Your New Job
* Architect cloud-native solutions using AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, S3, Athena, Lambda).
* Define security, compliance, and data governance standards.
* Establish data platform blueprints (ingestion, processing, storage, analytics).
* Align cloud strategy with business goals and data product roadmap.
* Design disaster recovery and business continuity models.
* Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs.
What Skills You Need
* Strong experience as a Cloud Architect working in AWS environments.
* Hands-on with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Groovy), and infrastructure automation.
* Comfortable working in hybrid teams and collaborating with DevOps/Data teams.
* Knowledge of tools like Redshift, Lambda, and Athena is a bonus.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* AWS certifications are a plus.
