Masterfire are hiring a fulltime Health & Safety Manager based in Ardee, Co. Louth covering sites nationwide. The successful candidate should be an expert within their field, have a minimum of 5 years' experience with relevant qualification and will be responsible for promoting a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the Organisation.
Duties:
Manage, maintain and develop the safety management system of the company (SAFE-T)
Completing risk assessments and method statement
Complete Health & Safety audits at all locations and support teams in the development and deployment of corrective actions.
Acting as PSCS on sites as required
Completing accident investigations
Provide relevant accident information to the insurer
Maintaining safety records, including training records, plant & equipment
Review sub-contractors' safety statements and relevant documentation to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Managing safety of the company fleet
Deliver safety training and tool box talks
Attending client meetings nationwide
Administer safety induction training
Support and guide on site project managers
Provide input to the tendering process for potential work
Manage Health & Safety Team
Microsoft Office experience including excel for reporting purposes
Requirements:
Level 8 Health & Safety Qualification
Minimum 5 years' experience
Knowledge of ISO45001 or SAFE-T
PSCS – Project Supervisor Construction Stage
Experience in completing site audits
Full clean driving licence
Delivering Manual Handling & Working from Heights training preferable
Experience working in electrical / engineering industry preferable
Knowledge of the below preferable:
a. National Guidelines for the Prevention of Nosocomial Aspergillosis
b. National COVID-19 Guidelines
c. Working in patient care settings
d. Electrical safety
