Career Vision Recruiters are now seeking an experiencedGeneral Manager for a family style Irish Restaurant serving locally sourced food. As GM you will manage this venues daily activities and ensure continued exceptional service to their valued customers. Responsibilities include:- Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the venue Inspiring and motivating employees to perform at their best through positive encouragement and incentive initiatives Accurately report all revenues & costs and execute accurate and timely declarations of cash on a daily basis Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures through the development and implementation of company SOPs Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed Manage data collection for updating operations metrics to achieve productivity targets and deliver excellent customer service Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems Work closely with the Operations Managers to ensure that activities remain compliant with health & safety legislation Attend budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management Ensure deadlines relating to recruitment, legal and marketing are met The ideal candidate has The ability to lead, motivate and manage staff Sound communication and interpersonal skills & works as part of a team on a regular basis Good analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities You are great at balancing a dynamic workload. You successfully use independent judgment to manage competing priorities, deliver results, and meet key objectives This requires a flexible approach to working hours due to trading days and times.
