Manufacturing Engineer / ME II
Position Overview
A key role has opened up with a globally renowned leader in medical device manufacturing. As an ME/ME II, you’ll be at the core of advancing production performance, introducing new processes, and ensuring product quality.

Your Responsibilities
* Driving Process Excellence: Monitor and improve manufacturing operations, ensuring equipment, tooling, and processes deliver consistently high output, cost efficiency, and product quality.
* Innovating Products and Processes: Lead initiatives that optimise existing systems and support the development of next-gen programmes in alignment with long-term business goals.
* Solving Complex Challenges: Use your engineering acumen to address technical problems, design inventive solutions, and champion new technologies.
* Communicating Insights: Generate detailed technical reports and deliver clear, actionable insights to internal stakeholders through presentations and documentation.
* Fostering Team Growth: Provide technical mentorship, set clear objectives, and guide cross-functional teams to successful project execution.
* Upholding Quality Standards: Rigorously adhere to quality systems and regulatory requirements to ensure both product integrity and patient safety.
* Equipment Validation: Take primary responsibility for executing validations on duplicate sets of production equipment, ensuring consistency and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
* Engineering Expertise: Strong grounding in core engineering principles, ideally supported by hands-on experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a regulated sector (medical devices preferred).
* Industry Know-How: Familiarity with key business practices and quality frameworks in high-spec production environments.
* Analytical Thinking: A proactive problem-solver with a knack for translating complex issues into practical solutions.
* Communication Skills: Clear, confident communicator who thrives in collaborative settings and can articulate ideas effectively across teams.
* Autonomy with Impact: Comfortable managing responsibilities independently while remaining aligned with collective goals.
* Validation Proficiency: Proven experience in equipment validation activities.
