We are seeking
Healthcare Assistants
to support residents living in residential and nursing home settings.
These roles involve providing person-centred, dignified care as part of a structured clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with activities of daily living including mobility, personal care, nutrition and comfort
Promote independence, dignity, privacy and respect in all interactions
Support residents to engage in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
Observe, record and report changes in resident wellbeing to nursing staff
Contribute to a positive, safe and supportive care environment
Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans and regulatory standards
Requirements
QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare Support (or working toward completion)
Understanding of person-centred care principles
Reliable, compassionate and respectful approach to care
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
Experience in residential, nursing home, intellectual disability or community support environments
Dementia care training or equivalent upskilling
Remuneration
Rates vary based on experience and setting.
