Healthcare Assistant – Residential Care / Nursing Home
Location: Cork & Nationwide

We are seeking Healthcare Assistants to support residents living in residential and nursing home settings. These roles involve providing person‑centred, dignified care as part of a structured clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with activities of daily living including mobility, personal care, nutrition and comfort
* Promote independence, dignity, privacy and respect in all interactions
* Support residents to engage in social, recreational and therapeutic activities
* Observe, record and report changes in resident wellbeing to nursing staff
* Contribute to a positive, safe and supportive care environment
* Maintain accurate documentation in line with care plans and regulatory standards
Requirements
* QQI Level 5 Award in Healthcare Support (or working toward completion)
* Understanding of person‑centred care principles
* Reliable, compassionate and respectful approach to care
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
* Experience in residential, nursing home, intellectual disability or community support environments
* Dementia care training or equivalent upskilling
Remuneration
Rates vary based on experience and setting. We will negotiate on your behalf to support your preferred pay expectations.
