The Spokesperson will be responsible for curating sonic experiences and showcases and facilitating communication between artists and venues. This is a hybrid role with a particular focus on the niche scene in the region and country.A Spokesperson/Curator plays a key role in discovering, securing and directing opportunities that fit our company's vision and ethos. This includes conceiving and scouting new possibilities (venues, collectives, hubs, etc.), negotiating terms, and finalizing deals with both clients and artists that are in line with our way of life. We naturally gravitate toward environments that carry a sense of prestige and care, places like designer showrooms, boutique hotels and resorts, lounges, beach clubs, and high-end clubs, restaurants, or cafés.These settings aren't just about status; they provide the right atmosphere for us to shine and for tailored connections with audiences to take place.Qualifications• Strong and efficient Communication skills• Solid and consolidated network and connections in the world of the Arts (design especially) • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills• Knowledge of the R&B, Soul, Jazz, Electronic, or Ambient genres• Good knowledge of Music and Art history• Enthusiasm for challenging tasks and environmentsContract Characteristics• Fee-based; starting at 33% net of the curatorial fees plus artist fees on top of the final costs, or a dynamic amount per curation. *Other forms of payment can also be negotiated.• Tax ID needed (Freelance)• Self-built timetable and schedule• No weekly hours, just monthly or seasonal tasks
