In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. Duties and ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnostics and repair work on our HGV fleet. Some of your duties will include: * Servicing and planned safety inspections. * MOT Preparation. * Diagnose faults. * Call out for breakdowns on site and on the road when required. * Working closely with the team and helping maintain our fleet of Scania, DAF, Man Trucks and refrigerated and flat trailers. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Knowledge, skills and experience requiredEssentialBe a time-served mechanicHave previous experience of working on plant machinery and HGV/LGV fleetsHave a full driving licenceGood awareness of health and safety requirementsDesirableAbility to lift up to 150 pounds
