About the Role
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Engineer (Level 1/2) to join our growing team in Cork. This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and supporting users across a range of technologies.
You will act as the first point of contact for IT support, providing both onsite and remote assistance while working closely with senior engineers when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide Level 1/2 technical support to end users (onsite and remote)
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues
* Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems
* Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
* Support Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and common business applications
* Log, track, and resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs
* Assist with onboarding and offboarding of staff
* Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required
* Contribute to IT documentation and process improvements
Skills & Experience
* 1–3 years' experience in an IT support or helpdesk role (Level 1/2)
* Strong working knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365
* Basic networking knowledge
* Experience with Active Directory and Azure AD
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and work independently
* Positive, customer-focused attitude
