The role of a Care Supervisor is to manage a team of Social Care Workers and Healthcare Assistants in a family home setting. This position involves supervising staff, implementing policies and procedures, managing operational aspects, and ensuring the highest possible quality of service within available resources.
Responsibilities include:
* Supervising social care and HCA staff
* Implementing policies and procedures, including budgets, Health and Safety, staff supervision, training and appraisal, and rostering of care staff
* Managing operational aspects concerning the running of the establishment
* Evaluating and monitoring the service to ensure it meets the needs of users
A successful candidate will have:
* A minimum level 7 qualification in Applied Social Care
* A thorough knowledge of Principles and Practice of Social care
* An understanding of basic management principles
* At least three years' experience
* A full driving license is essential
