As an Assistant Professor, you will play a key role in teaching and developing academic programmes at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. You will be responsible for carrying out research in areas specified in this advert, with a strong background in computing.
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity or Artificial Intelligence and be able to teach technical/practical areas of the subject. Teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level is required, along with an established track record of research achievement.
Key responsibilities include actively participating in the School's teaching provisions, supervising and marking student research projects, and engaging in assessment processes. You will also assist in the development of existing and new programmes, carry out research and innovation activities, and participate in the conception and development of project proposals.

Benefits
The successful applicant will be appointed to Academic I Salary Band €37,271 - €57,027 or Academic II Salary Band €53,836 - €82,374, commensurate with qualifications, academic experience, research output, and funding. The appointment will be permanent and fixed-term, with full-time hours of 35 per week.
